Q: Can I change from DishNetwork to Direct TV?
A: DishNetwork and DirectTV dish and cabling are compatible. but your dish
will have to be pointed to a different satellite location. Using one dish may
not let you from receive some local stations. DishNetwork and Direct
TV receivers use different hardware, and their receivers are not compatible.
Q: Could I install a DishNetwork or DirectTV dish indoors?
A: Yes, but it has to point through thin glass windows, pointing
towards the south.
Q: Could I install a satellite dish myself?
A: Yes, you should be able to just looking at the installation manuals but it is
better it be done by a professional.
